Most of you will come to discover the Mountain of Crete, the good old Psiloritis and to walk in our unique nature. But you will combine it with the fertile Valley of Amari and the beaches of southern Crete, with delicious food and local activities; time will flow unforgettably.
Psiloritis offers many alternative routes with different levels of difficulty but always with an excellent view and a unique nature. We try to constantly improve our paths to be functional.
For those who feel that climbing is more demanding, we have many nature walks. Our village from its location offers the mountainous landscape but also the most accessible parts of the Amari valley.
Although we are a mountain village, the sea is close by, either in the north or in the south. Combine your swim with a visit at Arkadi or Phaistos. Our valley is full of beautiful villages with a long history and you will indeed be in the most authentic part of Crete.
Worship in our churches and chapels and take the opportunity to get to know the nature that surrounds them. From the church of the Holy Cross (Timios Stavros) at the top of Psiloritis, to Panagia Kardiotissa in Livada, close to our village.
